Painting 'Geothermal unrest' 61 x 76cm oil on canvas has been shortlisted for the prestigious NOA (National open art) Prize. This piece was inspired by my time in Iceland in 2016.

Amy Albrights paintings seem to already have their own language, with unusual movement, a drifting, and depth with the works which is compelling. There is a sense of real exploration of space, which she has made her own, a place where through veils of paint we are allowed a glimpse into a shimmering world.
