‘A love of the earths movements and ever-changing landscapes inspires Amy just as much as where she lives and travels. Passionate about the elements and the evolution of them, the layering techniques used to create her paintings creates a sense of place that embodies a sense of untouched naturalism. A recent trip to Iceland saw her work become flushed with soft browns and pearly, violet whites that represent the active volcanic landscapes. At her studio at Krowji, an impressive large piece of translucent turquoises and glowing blushes of soft white embodying dark threads of deep blues and purples evoke her perceptions of the sea. Amy’s Paintings continue to give a unique and graceful perspective on the world we live in. ’ Alex Saunders, Editor at My Cornwall Magazine 2018

Reviews

"I've quite fallen in love with your evocative, sensual paintings. It's extraordinary that even as an internet thumbnail sized image the work vapourously conveys a much much larger Celtic grandeur. It's all very mythical. I'd love to be able to use some of your work in upcoming projects for clients.  In fact it's very much worth seeing your work now since it has the sort of presence one really needs to build an interior scheme around. "

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, TV presenter & Interior designer.

Amy Albrights paintings seem to already have their own language, with unusual movement, a drifting, and depth with the works which is compelling.  There is a sense of real exploration of space, which she has made her own, a place where through veils of paint we are allowed a glimpse into a shimmering world.

Testimonials:

'I absolutely love my painting. There is so much depth and vibrancy of colour in the piece that it stands out as the centrepiece of my room, and really adds brightness and character to it. There are so many layers and hidden details that I keep discovering and it completely fits the space it was made for.'  Rupert, Commercial Director, London. Re. Commissioned painting.

'Just a quick note to thank you so much for our painting, hung proudly on our kitchen wall yesterday and every time we walk past it seems we visually unpeel another layer of work, it really gets better each time we look.
Thank you so much'
Martin & Nikki.

'We're both delighted with our painting Tidal Shifts and enjoying it very much. The photos
didn't really do it justice as it's much better in real life.'

‘They fill me with peace and keep my interest at the same time. I see new details almost everyday and they really work well in the room together’
